Of which we kept 2 brindle puppies: |
J. Dara's Sir Bogart, "Bogie" (pictured at 5 years) |
J. Dara's Amber Dot "Dot" (pictured at 5 years) |
Jasmine and Bogie |
Then in 1994 we bought our first home:
In 1995 we bred Bootsie to CH Failte Leprechaun O'Burks, "Chaun" :

In 1997 Dot had a litter out of CH Amity Hall's Record Braker:
In 1998, Liz was bred with CH Amity Hall's Record Braker:
|
Which produced three fawn girls! |
We kept a plain fawn girl which we named : J. Dara's National Alliance, "Ali" |
|
(pictured at 6 weeks) |
|
(pictured at 9 weeks) |
|
(pictured at 9 months winning BOB) |
|
And here she is below at two years: |
|
|
Ali had her first puppies the middle of May, 2000, known as the "Coffee Litter" After which she went back into the showring in the Open class, she is now up to 5 points and counting!!!
In 2001 Ali began having problems with prolapse during her seasons, which affected her ability to show and to breed, so in 2002 we made the decision to have her spay and place her as a pet. Ali went to live with friends of ours right here in the Delmar area, and passed on in 2006. |
In the spring of 1998, I purchased a fawn female out the EWO line:
J. Dara's Fire of EWO Bee-Vee "Lucy" |
|
(pictured at about 18 months) |
|
Lucy's
show career was cut short by the fact that her one ear wouldn't stand,
and has now joined the Boyd
Family of Wilmington, Delaware . Here she
is with her new "kids" !
Lucy, Christmas 2001 |
In the summer of 1998, I purchased a brindle male out of
Ch. Raklyn's Rainmaker X Prelude's Ebony Rose of Echo:
J. Dara's Echo of Birchwood, "Bogie" |

|
Click HERE to go to Jasmine's Page and read about how and why we acquired Bogie. Bogie took Grand Sweepstakes at Mid-West Boxer Club Specialty in April 1999!! We showed him with a professional in 2000, but he didn't have the 'passion' for the ring, so he has been retired from that venture..... Bogie passed all his health tests in the year 2000, and produced a couple of litters for us before going to Shirley in New Zealand. Bogie goes to New Zealand!! |
In 1998, Z was bred with Salbad's Jewel of High River:
*Both Z and Julia
are owned by my niece,
Dawn Ward of RedDawn Boxers;
We kept a flashy brindle male out of Dawn's litter:
|
RedDawn's Justa Splash, "Splash" |
|
|
(pictured at 7 months old) |
| After only one year of limited showing, Splash had picked up 20 puppy blues, 2 RWD and 2 points...... |
|
Unfortunately, Splash has been placed as a companion due to an unfavorable holter result; as we felt we didn't want to take a chance on possibly perpetuating heart disease by using him in our breeding program. Splash passed on in 2008. |
Then in 1999 we fostered another Chaun daughter:
|
Howcurt's Fashionella, "Nellie" Nellie came to us in the fall of 1999, as her owner had suffered tragic circumstances which caused her to place most of her dogs. We fostered Nellie for 6 months and then Nellie was adopted!! She has joined the family of Richard and Jackie Cunningham of Wakefield, MA. |
Then early in 2000, we acquired Splash's sister, Roam.
She had been sold as a show prospect, but that home didn't work out,
and so Roam returned to me in January, 2000.
|
RedDawn's Dun Roamin', "Roam"
Click here to see Liz and Roam discovering the cat..... "T-Bone" Roam attended beginners class for Agility and did very well, and was also shown in conformation after her return, as she has finally begun to show signs of maturity!! Here she is in November 2000 with co-owner\handler, Dawn Ward.
and with her favorite boy, J.D.
Roam took RWB on 2-18-01 at the Maryland KC in Baltimore, Md., which was a major show!!!! RWB again at Bryn Mawr KC on 6-16-01, again a major show!! RWB once again at Salisbury, MD KC on 11-9-01!! Well, we haven't shown Roam' as much as we had hoped as she is such a finicky eater, we wouldn't think of sending her out without being able to travel with her, and due to the fact that my husband Jerry was activated for a year to the Maryland National Guard due to the events of 9-11, we didn't do much showing in 2002. BUT..... We did decide after three years of "0" on her holter results, to go ahead a breed her before her fourth birthday, and so she had a litter sired by CH Minstrel's Manheim Streamroller, "Jackson" in August of 2002!! Here is a picture of Roamin' at three years of age. Click for enlargement of photo.
The Steamin' Litter arrived on August 10, 2002
Roam was spayed after producing a puppy with kidney disease in 2002, and we lost her in 2006.
|
in 2000 Liz was bred to Bogie which produced the Millennium Litter,
and a bit later in 2000, Ali was bred to Bogie which produced the Coffee Litter.

Then, arriving on April 14th, 2001 was a new addition to
J. Dara's Boxers..... a little black brindle bitch all the way from
in New Zealand!!!
Siaradus Raven Flight to J. Dara, "Raven"
who quickly made herself right at home....

Click here for Raven's Page and Pedigree
then, two months later, Raven was joined by Kiwi!
Another dark brindle girl from Siaradus Kennels!!
Siaradus Luv To Kti at Global, "Kiwi"

Click here for Kiwi's Page and Pedigree
Kiwi had a litter by our Bogie boy before his departure for New Zealand,
and we called them the American Litter, since they arrived not too long after
the events of 9-11, 2001.
In 2006, we acquired a new pup from Araby Boxers!
After placing Raven and Kiwi as companions, then losing Roam in 2006,
we had only Marisa, but she had her first litter in February, 2010!!
In the midst of the worst snowstorms in a few years,
came the WINTER MIX LITTER !
And last but not least.........
