Here is the note I got back from Mr. Brucksch regarding responsibility for damage to irrigation pipes and damage to my lawn:

And my response to him:
Mr. Brucksch,
I don't find that at all satisfactory. You are saying you will not be
responsible for the damage already incurred, which means your attitude is that
you 'hope' all else goes fine? And if it doesn't? I again am to be responsible
for whatever you tear up in my yard? I don't think so. We will see how things
are left, but be advised I intend to pursue either Maryland Pools or the plumber
individually for the cost of the irrigation damage, and also for the excessive
damage to my lawn.
